Download Connecta from the App Store or Google Play. Open the app and tap "Create Account." You can sign up with your email or Apple/Google account. Follow the prompts to verify your identity and you're ready to start!
After creating your account, you'll be guided through profile setup. Add up to 6 photos, write a bio, and answer prompts about your interests and values. The more complete your profile, the better your matches!
Use clear, recent photos that show your face. Smile! Include a mix of headshots and full-body photos. Show your interests through your photos (hobbies, travel, pets). Avoid group photos as your main image, heavy filters, and sunglasses.
Go to Settings Preferences. Here you can set your preferred age range, distance, relationship goals, and deal breakers. Our algorithm uses these to show you the most compatible matches.
Learn how our matching system works.
Our algorithm considers multiple factors: shared interests, values alignment, lifestyle compatibility, relationship goals, and location. We score compatibility across these dimensions to show you people with the highest match potential.
The compatibility score (shown as a percentage) indicates how well you match with someone based on our algorithm. Scores above 80% indicate strong compatibility. This helps you prioritize who to connect with.
Complete your profile fully, answer all prompts honestly, keep your preferences realistic, and regularly update your interests. The more information you provide, the better our algorithm can find compatible matches.
Deal breakers are your non-negotiables. Set these in your preferences and we'll never show you profiles that conflict with them. Common deal breakers include smoking, children preferences, religion, and lifestyle choices.
Get the most out of conversations.
When you match with someone, you can start chatting immediately. Tap on the match and type your message. Tip: Reference something from their profile for a better opening than just "Hey!"
Yes! Tap the camera or attachment icon in the chat to send photos, videos, or voice notes. All media is moderated for safety. Keep it appropriate - violations can result in account suspension.
Open the conversation, tap the three dots (⋮) in the top right, and select "Unmatch." This removes the match and deletes all conversation history. The other person won't be notified.
Connect face-to-face with your matches.
Open a chat with your match and tap the phone icon (voice) or camera icon (video) at the top. The other person will receive a call notification. Both parties must accept for the call to connect.
Check your internet connection - WiFi is recommended for video calls. Close other apps using bandwidth. Make sure Connecta has permission to access your microphone and camera. Try restarting the app if issues persist.
Free users have a 10-minute daily voice call limit and no video calls. Plus subscribers get unlimited voice calls and 5 video calls per week. Premium and VIP subscribers enjoy unlimited calls.
Manage your account and payments.
Go to Settings Subscription to view your current plan, upgrade, or cancel. Subscriptions are managed in the app, so you may need to adjust billing there.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password." Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.
Go to Settings Account Delete Account. You can also visit our Account Deletion page to request deletion. This action is permanent and removes all your data.

On their profile or in a chat, tap the three dots (⋮) and select "Report." Choose the reason and provide details. Our team reviews all reports within 5 working days. Serious violations are escalated immediately.
Tap the three dots (⋮) on their profile or in a chat and select "Block." They won't be able to see your profile, message you, or know they've been blocked. You can unblock later in Settings Blocked Users.
